Data You Give Us Directly
Search forms send the name, telephone number, or address you enter to the outside provider that supplies results. Hazel Dell People Search does not save a copy of those searches on its own servers. A message sent through the contact route contains only what you choose to provide, and that information is used to answer you.
Data Collected Automatically
Standard hosting logs may record an IP address, browser type, visited pages, and timestamps. Aggregated log data helps keep the service available and shows which resources visitors use. Cookies or similar tools may also support basic analytics and advertising measurement where applicable.
What We Do With This Data
The limited data described above supports site operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and page improvement. We neither sell a visitor list nor create individual user profiles.
Links to Other Websites
Links lead to Clark County and Washington portals, records offices, library collections, and outside search services. Information submitted on another site is controlled by that site's policy, not this one. Sponsored results are also furnished by an outside company with its own privacy terms.
Who May Receive Data
Hosting and support vendors process server logs for us. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic information noted above. Data may also be disclosed when valid legal process requires it, but visitor information is not otherwise shared.
How We Protect Your Data
The site is served over an encrypted connection. We retain server logs only as long as needed for the purposes above. Because we do not run accounts, there is no password or profile of yours to breach on this site.
Users Under 18
This site is not directed at children and is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Data Rights
Privacy rights depend on the data and where a person lives. Washington's My Health My Data Act, chapter 19.373 RCW, provides rights for covered consumer health data, but it is not a general public-record deletion law. Because we retain little, a request usually means checking contact mail and available logs. Use the Contact page. Records held by Clark County or Washington agencies remain under the custodian's control and the Washington Public Records Act, chapter 42.56 RCW.
